Niger state government makes fertility, genotype, HIV/AIDS tests compulsory before marriage

Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger state on Wednesday February 24, signed the bill against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the bill for Premarital Medical Examination into law. The new bills which were signed into law makes fertility, genotype, HIV/AIDS tests compulsory before marriage and were sponsored by Niger state house of assembly members Binta Mamman and Malam Shuaibu Liman.
