Actress Ufuoma McDermott has asked Abike Dabiri-Erewa to disclose the name and identity of the government official alleged to have been aiding the six Nigerian men convicted in the UAE for funding the terrorist group, Boko Haram. In a Twitter thread, Dabiri-Erewa who is the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, commented on the news report of the Nigerian men convicted in UAE. ''6 Nigs convicted in the UAE for wiring $782,000 to Boko Haram. Abubakar Muhammad and Saleh Yusuf Adamu got life imprisonment. while Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, AbdurRahman Ado Musa, Bashir Ali Yusuf and Muhammad Ibrahim Isa, got 10 years.They lost their appeal.They can approach the Supreme Court if they so desire , as we continue to appeal to Nigerians all over the world to desist from crime and criminalityThe case had been in court since 2015.'' An earlier report published by DailyTrust, alleged that a government official simply identified as ''Alhaji Ashiru'' was also identified to have been aiding the convicted sponsors of the terrorist group. Read here. Ufuomma while reacting to Dabiri-Erewa's tweets, demanded that she mentions the name of the government official who has been accused of working with the convicted Nigerian men.
