Juventus are prepared to sacrifice Paulo Dybala for Paul Pogba, but not if he turns down Manchester United, while Andrea Pirlo picks his center-forward.
The tactician spent most of Thursday in talks with President Andrea Agnelli, vice-president Pavel Nedved and director Fabio Paratici.
According to multiple reports, the meeting lasted six hours and resulted in backing for Cristiano Ronaldo, despite the rumours of his potential departure.
What did emerge in various papers was that Dybala is the player who could be sacrificed to raise funds after their early Champions League exit.
According to Tuttosport, La Joya could even be offered to Manchester United as part of an exchange deal for Pirlo’s old teammate Pogba.
However, Dybala already turned down Tottenham Hotspur last summer and is unlikely to change his mind for Manchester United, especially after he was Juve’s most impressive player in 2019-20.
The hunt is on for a genuine centre-forward, and there are several alternatives that Pirlo pointed to.
Arkadiusz Milik of Napoli had been requested by Maurizio Sarri, but would not be entirely out of Pirlo’s plans either.

Duvan Zapata is the first choice from Atalanta, but La Dea are not eager to let the Colombia international go.
Another candidate is Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez, who has been mentioned in links with Juventus for several months.
Edin Dzeko would certainly be considered if he were to leave Roma, although Inter have also been linked with the Bosnian.
